Sama family is designed by Ek Type. I was the design lead for Sama Malayalam and Unnati Kotecha was the co-designer. She designed the glyph set for both the masters. I mentored and helped her draw letters throughout the process. In the end I did mastering with curve, width and spacing adjustments + wrote OpenType features.
