Sama Type family is designed by Ek Type. I was the design lead for Sama Kannada and Vaijayanti Ajinkya was the design intern. She designed basic unicode set for both the masters. I mentored and helped her draw letters throughout the process. In the end I completed the whole glyphset, did mastering with curve, width and spacing adjustments + wrote OpenType features.
