Aksharaya is a NGO dedicated to raising awareness about Indic scripts.
It collaborated with calligraphers and experts to design instruction manuals for learning the basics of calligraphy across different Indian scripts – Devanagari, Urdu, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Kannada, Bangla, Tamil, Malayalam and Odia.
These manuals have been appreciated by amateurs & professionals in the industry as they serve as educational guides for students, professionals and letter enthusiasts.
The four calligraphy manuals in which you can see my calligraphy are: Devanagari, Gujarati, Malayalam (with Rajat Bhele) and Bangla (with Shamik Khan).

Each calligraphy manual is bi-lingual.
It contains details such as information of the script, tools that are used for calligraphy, guidelines for calligraphy, how to draw basic strokes, step by step guide to draw letters, numerals, vowel signs and a few complex conjuncts, including terminology, calligraphed words and sentences.
