This Devanagari typeface is a new addition to a proprietary multi-script family, intended primarily for display use (18pts and above) in UI design and branding applications. The font is a clear and joyful, low contrast design that spans across seven weights, two grades, three optical sizes, and a rounded version. The contemporary Devanagari font design reflects the brand’s warm and inclusive attributes, and adheres to their pre-existing UI guidelines. It retains the nuances, proportions, and regional variations of the Devanagari script while emulating the personality of the larger type family. The wide range of weights and styles adds versatility to the brand, and the grades and optical sizes help in improving legibility in dark theme UI, overlays, and varied sizes.
